Metaphor: The shoreline represents both my future and the obstacles I will face. Without the energy/knowledge that I have gained from the MET program I could never hope to overcome these obstacles. Thanks to the different sources of wave energy the shoreline can now be slowly eroded by the force of the water and the energy crashing against it. The ideas and skills that I have learned during the MET program have built these waves and they are slowly working away and reshaping my future and how I teach forever. In this category you will find ETEC 590 which has started the process of reflection and helped me to realize the importance of what I have learned in the MET program.
