ETEC 522 and ETEC 565M are the two courses that I included in this category. The reason for this is that they both had a big impact on my learning in a short time frame. These courses made me look beyond the present to the possible futures of educational technology and the impact that it might have on society. These course created some very large waves in my general understanding of technology, but they differed to other MET courses in that this was not knowledge that I would use on a daily basis in my classroom. Instead it changed my perspective and they have encouraged me to stay at the forefront of learning about new technology.
